HEAR (Health Evidence Awareness Report): resource for biomeds and dietiticians: Jan 2017 edition out now
HEAR (Health Evidence Awareness Report) is a useful resource for biomeds and dietetic students and the latest edition for January 2017 is now available, The purpose of HEAR is to provide specialised information to health professionals (and the public) about key health topics. Each issue is the result of the collaborative effort of librarians from health organizations across Ireland.
This month, the focus is on obesity and resources include fast facts, media myths, the latest evidence and some helpful sites and research articles. Previous editions have focused on diabestes and online medical resources.
HEAR is made available via LENUS (the Irish Health Repository). Keep any eye out for the next one and access previous editions via LENUS

Level3, the DIT online journal, invites articles, reports, think pieces and book reviews for Issue Number 15, June 2017
- Potential authors are welcome to discuss a proposal with the editors:
- Author guidelines are available on the journal website: www.level3.dit.ie
- Authors of full articles may opt for peer review or non-peer review
- Copy-editing and formatting support is provided to all authors
- Copyright remains with authors
- Authors are responsible for the accuracy of their own content
- Ethics of academic publishing apply: editors accept items at their discretion.
Items for Level3 are accepted at any time
The DEADLINE for final items for the June 2017 issue is 22 May.
