BioRxiv : biology pre-prints

BioRxiv (pronounced "bio-archive") is a free online archive for unpublished preprints in the life sciences. This new resource is operated by Cold Spring Harbor Lab, a not-for-profit research and educational institution. By posting preprints on bioRxiv, authors are able to make their findings immediately available to the scientific community. Articles are not peer-reviewed or edited before being posted online. However, all articles undergo a basic content screening process.

BioRxiv accepts preprints of articles covering all aspects of research in the life sciences but does not accept clinical studies or clinical trials. Scope includes:

  • Biochemistry
  • Bioengineering
  • Bioinformatics
  • Cancer Biology
  • Cell Biology
  • Genetics
  • Genomics
  • Immunology
  • Microbiology
  • Molecular Biology
  • Molecular Medicine
