Abbreviating Medical Journal Titles Cont.


Another useful source for finding the abbreviated versions of health science journals is the National Library of Medicine (NLM) Catalog. This is especially useful for nutrition and dietetics students (DT223) using the ECJN citation style. To use this tool efficiently, enter the journal title in quotes e.g. to search for an abbreviation for Amreican, e.g. search for “New England Journal of Medicine” and the abbreviation will be displayed : New Eng J Med
