‘The Annual Reviews Collection’ is a series of review articles reproduced from various ‘Annual Review’ journals. The reviews cover minor groove binding proteins, ubiquitin and secretory protein trafficking, small G proteins in yeast cell polarization and wall biosynthesis, GCN5-related N-acetyltransferases, protein folding, dynamin and membrane fission, membrane binding domains in signalling and subcellular targeting, phosphoinositide-specific phospholipase C, viral interference with MHC Class I antigen processing and presentation, minimal-gene-set concept and horizontal gene transfer in prokaryotes.
